Can't help with Linux (I'm still more comfortable with windows) but can
create the PDF for you with (No flames please) Windows. A short term fix
with a continuing long term problem. Email me your recume in RTF or .DOC
(Word) or Psotscript (.PS) format and I can distill it using Adobe Acrobat
5.0. and return it as PDF. Adobe Distiller reado Postscript files and
creates PDF files.

Hope this helps

Not really knowing anything about this. First I would try saving the
file as a Postscript. (instead of *trying* to save it as a PDF and
getting a postscript). Then try using ps2pdf and see if that works.
