I'm assuming you mean Linux CLI:
/usr/bin/md5sum <filename>
This is on Redhat 7.3 specifically, but should be standard for most RedHat
versions. The actual location of the md5sum executable may differ.

Subject: MD5 checksums
Hello,
Could someone point me to the offical MD5 utility and the exact command
syntax to use for the following files?
valhalla-i386-disc1.iso
valhalla-i386-disc2.iso
valhalla-i386-disc3.iso
I used a Windows version of MD5 and the checksum did not match. So I now
want to use a command line version, though last time I tried it I had the
syntax wrong and overwrote the iso image.
Thanks
