I'm assuming you mean Linux CLI: /usr/bin/md5sum This is on Redhat 7.3 specifically, but should be standard for most RedHat versions. The actual location of the md5sum executable may differ. -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us]On Behalf Of Miles Beck Sent: Sunday, September 15, 2002 6:37 PM To: PLUG Subject: MD5 checksums Hello, Could someone point me to the offical MD5 utility and the exact command syntax to use for the following files? valhalla-i386-disc1.iso valhalla-i386-disc2.iso valhalla-i386-disc3.iso I used a Windows version of MD5 and the checksum did not match. So I now want to use a command line version, though last time I tried it I had the syntax wrong and overwrote the iso image.
