NOW, the only question I have is if there is a way to tell exactly which video mode you are currently in while in KDE ? (i.e. 640X480, 800X600, etc.)</P>

<DIV></DIV>check the resolutions you want to use. Like if you are
<DIV></DIV>using 16 bit color, check the 800x600 and 1024x768
<DIV></DIV>boxes in that column for example. Then you can try
<DIV></DIV>switching resolutions with ctrl + alt + + or ctrl +
<DIV></DIV>alt + -.
