I installed and new Red Hat box and chose to install both KDE and GNOME. I
haven't used GNOME hardly at all so I thought it would be nice to switch
between the two once in a while.
Well, now when I load KDE, all the GNOME libraries load too, and vice versa.
The play box is just a 200MHz Pentium and X crawls as it swap-thrashes the
hard drive with essentially both of the desktops loaded. Sure it's neat to
use GNOME apps in KDE but I don't want to do that.
How do I set it up so that when I load KDE, I don't get GNOME too and when I
load GNOME, KDE stays out of my memory?
