Subject: Install emacs on Linux
I've just installed linux(Mandrake 8.1) and I'm trying to get emacs
installed. Disk 2 of Mandrake 8.1 is in the cdrom and accessible. When I run
this command 'rpm -ivh emacs-X11-20.7-17mdk.i586.rpm' I get this error
message 'error: failed dependencies: emacs is needed by
emacs-X11-20.7-17mdk.i586.rpm'. Any suggestions on how to get Emacs
installed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark
