When I connect to the internet I can not get connect
to anything. I recently got samba figured out, and
while I was trying to get samba working I did a lot of
playing around will ip's and files. I think I might
have changed something I shouldn't have.
I can connect to the internet, but when I put in an
address the browser just says it is trying to look up
name, then it times out. When I try to telnet out, it
just hangs until it times out. It was working fine
before I started playing around with things. Could
any one help me out to get this fixed? I am not sure
what files would be helpful to look at, but below is
my resolv.conf file if that helps any.
search localdomain
nameserver 209.244.0.3
nameserver 209.244.0.4
nameserver 209.244.0.3 # ppp temp entry
nameserver 209.244.0.4 # ppp temp entry
nameserver 209.244.0.3 # ppp temp entry
nameserver 209.244.0.4 # ppp temp entry
The system has inserted these ip's on there own.
Thanks
mike
