Subject: Scanners for Linux
I have a UMAX Astra 1220S (scsi) which works great with Sane, Gimp and
RH 7.1. I found it at Fry's for $49.95 a few months ago. Try to get a
scsi scanner because Sane's support of USB (or parallel port) is not
quite ready for prime time.
