About all I do is regularly run windows update and apply any patches available. It is on a P-166 machine but then so is my RH72

I guess we are quite on the opposite ends of the spectrum. I got
started in Linux because Windows 95 crashed about once an hour on
me. I can't keep a Windows box running for more than a week, yet
my Linux and Solaris boxes are hardly ever rebooted (only for
security updates). For the Windows 98 and Linux workstations, I
have very similar usage patterns, so it's not like I'm using them
differently. One is a Timex (keeps on ticking) and the other,
well, dies avery few days.

If you care to share your secrets to keeping Win98 running, I
would appreciate it.
