I wouldn't think so, but then again I've only used RH. I have tried a number of
Window Managers (Gnome, KDE, E, Ice, etc...) and have had no trouble with any of
them on RH (some didn't have rpms, big deal, just compiled and use .xinitrc to
start them up instead of the default :)
