the 1994 disabilities law (forget its name) allows for you to request
reasonable accomodation for your disabity. If you were to be
performing duties on a single machine, it would definitly be
reasonable to request a machine that is capable of displaying a lower
resolution and using hardware panning (XFree86 does this, I've seen a
few Win95/98/NT video card drivers that do it as well). On the other
hand, if your job were to be going from machine to machine thru an
entire company, maintaining them, it wouldnt be reasonable to request
that.

Justin,
What that means is that as you burst and use varying amounts of bandwidth on
that T1, UUNet will take what they call a "sample" of your in and out bound
traffic about every 5 minutes and record the usage amount. At the end of the
month they will knock out the top 5% of the usage recorded and bill you
based upon the remaining 95%. What this does is keep you from getting billed
for those occasional peaks that don't last very long but use more bandwidth.
Burstable bandwidth is a good solution if you're not sure what your
sustained usage will be or if your usage is very sporadic. The down side of
a burstable T1 is that it will cost you more per MB. Feel free to call me
