Subject: linux seems slow
I think it is really more of windows SEEMS fast. mainly because
it preloads alot of stuff on boot. Internet explorer is mostly running
all the time so when you start it it seems really fast to start. I do
similar things in linux and start many of the programs I use regularly
minimized. that way I just click on them and they start extreamly fast.
of course I don't think I would do that with staroffice yet although I
do do it with Netscape.
