Nedit is my favorite; it's Motif (wish it was GTK...) but has most
of the features like Windows editors (block selects, indent/outdent,
macros, drag n' drop, syntax highlighting, etc.) and is somewhat customizable.

At work we use SlickEdit which is more full-featured but costs real money
and is a bit of a pig.
