Subject: SCSI card
The Adaptec 2906 lists for about $70 and is pretty reliable but I've only
used it on Mac's & Windows machines. I have to believe that it will work
well with Linux but I haven't checked.

Orange Micro makes a 'clone' of the adaptec - I think the model # is the
same but they have failed on me a bit more than I can recommend.

My preference would be the Adaptec 2930 since it is wide (twice as fast) and
booting is supported on all the platforms though for a scanner - both
features are unnecessary. It's $100.

Craig
