Subject: ipchains....opening tcp and udp specific ports with Mandrake 7 kernel 2.2.14
providing your kernel has included portforwarding (not true on all
distros)...

# flush existing forwarding rules
/usr/sbin/ipmasqadm portfw -f

# sample of forwarding port for SSH port
/usr/sbin/ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L $EXTIP 26 -R $PORTFWIP1 22

substitute:
$EXTIP - your external network ip address
$PORTFWIP1 - the internal network ip address to forward to
