Subject: Video conferencing for Linux? -- Yes ???
John:

This sounds like an interesting solution, but we are specifically looking
for Open Source solutions. So far, everything I've found in the way of
video conferencing on Linux is the same tools that have been available for
*NIX for some time now (tools such as vic, rat, vat, etc...) that are
designed to work over the mbone, but can also do point-to-point if an ip
is specified on the command line.

Since what we are looking for is more in the area of a web broadcast, we
may end out using something like icecast to stream live audio, and then
find some way of pushing "slides" out to go along with the audio.
