I personally find it hard to resist the allure of a Sun workstation for some
reason. If I were not a college student I could MAYBE dream of affording
one. You can find some pretty sweet Alpha deals on Ebay. I have drulled
over them from time to time. If you want to get real funky you can get some
SGI indys for about 700 bucks with a 21" monitor on Ebay. I guess this
doesnt really help you make a decision, but I hope it makes your options
more diverse.
