I am running Wayland on an arch derivative called Garuda Linux. It runs
really well but I have a desktop with dedicated amd graphics.

Previously on a Intel/Nvidia laptop with Optimus it worked fine until I
tried to flip flop graphics for gaming and ended up having to shut off the
Intel gpu and run full time nvidia gpu to make it work.

This was under Ubuntu or Garuda.
