Ubuntu, KDE interface

I've never tried to install KDE onto Ubuntu, I just use the Kubuntu
distribution. Unity was usable at first, as you could still reasonably
customize it, but then they disabled a lot of options when they realized
folks who did work didn't like the unity layout, and that's when I switched
to Kubuntu and never looked back. Though I may check out Mint, several
friends really seem to like it.
