Ubuntu, KDE interface

Mint is nice, but when I put it on this machine about one in three times 
it would not recognize the USB keyboard and mouse. Damned difficult to 
log in under those circumstances. After this happened three times on one 
boot I decided there was a problem. Mine or theirs, i don't know, and 
don't care.
