I have a MFC-9440CN aand a HL-1440 brother printers
both have show up as multiple printers due to the printers are able to talk
in
several protocols I usually test each and go with the one that works. I
have in the past had to edit location to the ip address of the printer but
I have not had to in a long time currently I use
Device URL dnssd://Brother%20MFC-9440CN._pdl-datastream._tcp.local/
make and model Brother MFC-9440CN BR-Script3
