How to find or set printer IP

Thanks for responding Todd ... however, sorry I'm so slow, but I'm afraid
I just don't know what to do with the information that you provided.

Is 'dnnsd' *with some modified variation of the //Brother... string
example that you provided a command that I should use to get the other
Linux laptops on my network to be able to print to my Brother HL-2270DW
laser printer?  I need a little more information and guidance on exactly
what I need to do here.
