I agree with Jeremy and recommend to not using digest-mode.

If you want to use digest-mode, though, look at the docs for procmail and
formail.

I haven't used digest-mode for over a decade, but procmail will let you
feed the digest directly to formail for breakup.

Some clients might also be able to do the breakup for you if you want to
read in digest-mode. I don't remember which ones have mentioned that,
though. Probably mutt.
