Linux/Unix Systems Admin 2 month contract!

Hello Group!  Please review the below contract and let me know if you
would be interested.  The pay is 35/hr W2 and this will run 2 months in
duration.


 


General Job Summary


Installs, configures and maintains servers, applications, and related
systems. Creates and maintains scripts for system/network automation and
monitoring.  Resolves tickets for issues related to job functions.
Completes projects as assigned. Provides maximum performance, uptime,
and safety for system users.

 

 Major Job Tasks

1.      Resolve issues, complete user and system changes, complete daily
backup tasks, Create tickets for all problems and changes.  

2.      Installs, configures, and maintains operating systems and
related software to ensure stable and optimal performance.    

3.      Automates and maintains any aspect of system/network monitoring
that is possible using native tools, i.e., shell scripting; e-mail, etc.


4.      Evaluates system performance and makes suggestions for
improvements.  

5.      Documents all processes and scripts that are used to perform all
job functions.   

6.      Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
