Slightly OT: SUN Ultra 30 Workstation equivalence

Read a performance comparison a few months ago in LJ. The author, with
many disclaimers, showed the same code on a Sun E250 running about 1/2
as fast as a Pentium 800. Similar amounts of RAM and Hard Drives.

With that "benchmark" all you need to do is equate a Sun Ultra 30 to an
E250. In my experience, and E250 or an E450 would make a good desktop
machine :)
