I know this can be done: IMAP, Procmail, SquirrelMail

Check out Evolution 1.0.2, works nicely even with nested folders!!!!!! I
have some nested folders that are 4x deep and I can close the entire
path and the top folder bolds on new mail, as I punch down I see each
folder in the path highlited, all clear when I read the new message.

Nice.

Even works with MS Exchange quite nicely.
