I think Richard mis-read your request.  KMail is only a MUA and you
want a full MTA.

Of course, if the only emailing that you do is to the Internet through
your ISPs, then KMail will do as it does do direct SMTP forwards and
POP3 (and in CVS, IMAP) downloads.
