Impressive. All that’s left to do is go buy yourself a 2TB rotator (laptop drives of this capacity were around $80 on Amazon a while back), put / on the SSD and /home on the rotator, and you’ve got quite a system, IMHO. (That’s how my laptop is set up…)

For what, just a bit over $300.

I usually buy the parts computers (bare) then buy the HDD/SDD if available and as much ram as available sometimes I have been able to get 4 8Gb=32GB depends on available stock HDD up to 4TB all used all cheap all tested
rare to see a SSD over 160GB in stock but the I7's I looked at were all 8GB 160GBSSD with ubuntu installed for 225
