MRTG and Cisco

Maybe some of you have seen this issue. I have moved some equipment from
some sub-interfaces on a cisco router to a Cisco Layer2/3 switch. When I
made this change MRTG is no longer reporting correctly for the VLANs.

I went from having for example, 100kbps of traffic when reporting on sub
interface FastEthernet0/0.5 (Fa0/0.5:public at w.x.y.z) to 16bps of traffic
when reporting on Vlan512 (Vl512:public at w.x.y.z).

I am using a cisco CAT3550EMI switch. I would monitor the switch ports
directly, but the ports are VLAN Trunked and connect to other Layer2
switches.

Any guidance on the issue would be great.

Thank you,
Gilbert
