Is it yet possible to _really_ switch from Windows?

I went all Linux for a while and found it did not work for me. I do LAMP development and my favorite editor does not run under Linux and running IE for testing under wine was not optimum either.
So I have a Linux dev server and a Win XP desktop. For me this is the best setup.
I had tried going M$ free in 2000 and was Linux only for 8 months.
Please don't flame me but I find Windows does somethings better. Yikes!!!!!
And if you ever plan to write Windows software you must have Windows....

I have been using Linux as my sole desktop since before 2000 at home, in
my own company, and currently where I work.
All systems have problems. you get to pick your problems when you pick
your platform. I would rather deal with Linux problems than windows
problems. just my preference.
But yes, Linux does suck. It just sucks less than windows IMHO.
