As MIT gets ready to release (some of) its educational material to the Net at 
the end of this month, the BBC announcement reminded me of our own efforts 
(z.B. der.hans class) and the MIT material might serve as a knowledgebase for 
our projects.

A quote from the BBC article:

MIT staff point out that if this initiative is successful, and other 
institutions follow, it will put the net back on track towards its original 
goal of sharing information and knowledge around the world, rather than 
selling CDs and t-shirts.
