Star Office and PDF

I use StarOffice 6.0. I tried printing to a PS file and then ps2pdf. 
This also did not work as intended- again, it omitted the spaces between 
the words. I  also went to PS2PDF.com- the PS file converted correctly 
on their website, as it did on Adobe's.
