Okay a couple of posts ago (the recycling thread) I mentioned I could
get a Mac PPC for $25. I'm really tempted to get one. I sorta got
the bored housewife syndrome and am looking for something to keep me
busy, besides going out and molesting all the neigbors :o). Ok,
back on track, would playing with LinuxPPC be worth my time, just for
the sake of doing it and getting the experience? Or should I avoid it
at all costs??? It's not like it's going to be a production system
or anything, just a goof around box. Any comments would be
appreciated.
Oh btw, since I'm waaaay devoid of bandwidth out here, I remember
before we all got Cox, DSL, Speedchoice there were many places to get
cheap distros on CD. I tried Cheapbytes but they were gone! Anyone
know the best place to pick up a cheapo CD of Mandrake 8.1 (ugh, I
know but I kinda like it) and LinuxPPC? Or if anyone wants to help a
girl out and burn me a couple copies off your broadband and mail 'em
to me???? *^_^*
Ok off I go to cause some trouble :o)
