OT: Sparc CPCI system for test

I have a big favor to ask of someone.

We have at my employer a new product that runs on the CPCI bus. It is a SCSI host bus adapter and SCSI storage drive. We would like to test it on a Sparc CPU running Solaris. We need to prove that it will perform as the Solaris boot device for a Sparc CPU. We don't want to have to buy a Sparc CPU board for our currently Intel based test bed just to run one test.

Do any of you out there have a system we could borrow (generous that would be!) or we could come to where it is to test on? Or do you know of anyone we could contact about the possibility of doing this testing? We would just need enough time and equipment to be able to install Solaris on our product and boot from it.

The boss says we will gladly buy lunch for whoever lets us do this test!

Respond to the email above or to my work email, adayley@adtron.com. Thanks.

Alan
