It was about IBM replacing Sun's financial transaction software on the
stock exchanges with their own linux-based solutions. The systems will
apparently run on IBM S/390-Linux and provide real-time feeds of buy and
sell orders among floor traders and brokers. The idea is to permit smaller
brokerage houses to take advantage of the system as the open source OS cuts
the costs significantly.
