Samba Swat

Hi,
I am using Red Hat Linux 7.1, so it is xinetd rather than inetd now.
I have problem in killing the xinetd in one of the process mentioned "kill 
-1 pid".
Will it be the same if I restart xinetd from /etc/rc.d/init.d??

Sure. In the tarball or the man/man8 directory of wherever Samba was
installed, the file swat.8 gives you full information on how to do it --
even how to add it to inetd. =o)
