\_ Well, I have qmail initially installed. I telnet into my machine \_ at port 25 and as I would expect I get the SMTP server. However, \_ when I telnet in at port 110 I cant get a reply from the POP \_ server. Any ideas??? Thanks for all of the help thus far!! Are you speaking POP3 at it? Try typing 'HELP' or 'LIST' after the telnet connects. David
