OT: remapping keys

Hi all.

I have a slight problem.  As everyone knows the best M$ products are 
hardware and with this thought I am using M$ natural keyboard.
I like the design (It could use some improvements).

My question is:

How can I remap Control key to be in place of Caps Lock?

I need to have this working on Linux and Winblows.  

p.s.
	I have great Idea for a cool keyboard design, but I do not know
how I can get someone to make one (a prototype) any ideas on this one??
