Vim is not out of the question as part of a complete suite of tools. I
am looking for:
- - Editor with syntax highlighting, code completion (if possible) and
other "fancy" tools that show awareness of the Python language.
- - Minimal debugger capability like source code line stepping and
variable inspection.
- - GUI design be it wxWindows or TK or something so that GUI interfaces
can be drawn and run on either Windows or Linux.
- - Database awareness is nice but not an absolute requirement.
If Vim can be integrated with tools to handle that then it could be part
of the solution.
