MIke,

I have an Epson Color Stylus 880 that I use for linux printing and it works
just fine. I use cups and all the drivers are there. The printer is connected
to a linksys printserver, so I share the printer with several computers.

The web interface to cups (http://localhost:631) makes setting up the printer
a breeze. Just enter the address of the server, select Epson, selected the
driver for the 880, and it is ready to go.

I know nothing about the C86 - but if it is supported by cups then it should
work as well.
