mp3 support for XMMS 1.2.7

Are you running on RH 8.0? I hear that RH took the mp3 libs out of the
standard distro. So if you are you'll need to get the mp3 libs. (I'd
imagine that you could still get them off of RH's site or from an old
copy of the RH cds).
