make Makefile?

There's autoconf, automake and libtool. I can loan you my book if you show
up to a meeting :).

I'd love to see makefile and other 'how to make your project installable for
others' topics for the devel meetings.

Recently I've been using using "echo stuff >>Makefile" in my configure
scripts to build Makefiles. I really need to get a handle on them at some
point.
