Subject: Re: Do I Need to Use a Network Switch / How to Configure
Thanks Alexander,

I'm thinking this will do the job

https://www.amazon.com/GS108NA-Netgear-ProSafe-Ethernet-1000Base-T/dp/B000092RRM/

All of my hardware is old. I am thinking of an upgrade in 12 - 18
months and at that point will probably replace my router and WIFI....
Not sure if I will need to have 2 or more static IPs Most of my work is
PHP programming on a private network using non-routable domains using
the .internal TLD and I use the hosts files for DNS.

I've run a LAMP+mail+BIND+etc using port forwarding. I do not see that
in my future.

Most of what I do is oriented toward PHP/MySQL... I use Linux to that
ends.

Thank You So Much For Your Help!!
Keith
