Yeah, I use the paid version (4o) all the time for code. It gives you wrong
stuff all the time, but I've found that it's about 80%-90% correct, but
it's the little stuff. Like yesterday I was writing some Ansible automation
and it gave me a suggestion on a module, but it included an option that
didn't exist. I wouldn't have known it if VSCode hadn't refused to
highlight it like the other code. That forced me to go RTFM and I was able
to eventually figure it out.

I think A.I. and coding will get you *almost* there, but it takes your own
knowledge and human intuition to get you over the finish line.
