I use it for data analysis & presentation, and introduce students to its
basic usage in the Electronics Measurements (ELE251) course that I teach at
Mesa Community College . It is enormously powerful and similar to MATLAB
(at least as I remember MATLAB from when I used to use proprietary
software).
