The hosting provider got back to me and said that they can set me up with a restricted shell access on any of my accounts.
Also, cPanel has a way to support npm built into it.
They’re not sure if the built-in support for REST routing on MySQL is enabled or not; they need me to be more specific.
I’ll keep digging.
