K3B is the one KDE app I ever missed, but after dumping KDE in 2013 I
became quite fond of the following:
cdrecord dev=/dev/sr0 speed=1 driveropts=burnfree padsize=63s -pad -dao
-v -eject whatever.iso
You can remove the speed=1 to let cdrecord determine the speed, but
I've burned some coasters that way, so I take an extra minute or two to
know I've burned it right.
