I bought two different Cherry keyboards in different key colors to try to bring back the old tactile typing experience, paying over $100 each. I don't like or use either one, and they are like new still. They don't have the old feel, they are clattery, and I find them not worth the trouble. I understand that gamers love them.

If anyone is interested I'll make them a deal. I live in Buckeye, come and try them out.

Do the Cherry keyboards sound and feel like a model M keyboard? I've noticed a wide range of prices for the Cherry keyboards. If only some models sound and feel like a model M, which ones?

Red Cherry switches are probably the closest to buckling springs, but it’s still very different.
I’d get a Unicomp - good condition Model Ms are hard to come by these days.

MX Cherry Greens as also a good choice for buckling spring keyboard fans. I have a Das Keyboard 4 with the greens, and I love them. That being said - I also have a second keyboard attached, as the people on my conference calls can't stand them.
