I've had a number of weird issues with
my profile data in one form or another dating back to my palm pre
that has caused various screw-ups with my data, namely loss of
      contacts prior.

Somewhere around my Moto Bionic, android blew up my contacts
duplicating them to the extent of hundreds of the same and taking
my contacts up to 40k or so (wonder why anything hitting contacts
was freezing my phone?).  It's only gotten stranger and harder to
pinpoint from there, significantly so after blending chrome
      profiles on the desktop.

Seemingly some corruption "stuck" that everything hates as an
exception, that I almost want to start over with an account if I
weren't simply so integrated with this gmail account anymore.
Even my phone acts weird in ways that seems only occurs to me.  On
the desktop the chronic "opps, chrome has pooped the bed" popups
began probably a few years ago, namely the busier chrome is across
memory footprint, the more prone it is to occurring.  If I kill
tabs off sufficiently, it works again, so something is causing
like an exponential blowout of some sort of resources, though I
never see a process exceeding its memory reservation.

I only noticed this recently, having to use separate profiles for
separate gapps accounts I use for myself and partners, needing to
do so to keep them sane.  When my profile is crapping out, the
others work still.  Very odd...  The local file access crashes
mine almost certainly, other profiles it's a crapshoot.  Nothing
is deterministic about this, making it very frustrating and
      angering.

I find everything about google's product qualities are coming
unglued these days, guess that happens when you hit a certain
girth in any corporation.  At least google exec's aren't running
      around doing monkey dances, yet.

I have had no issues with syncing my profile in
chrome. Its a handy tool (Firefox is also able to do this) and
i nearly swapped to Firefox recently but their profile
swapping was less than satisfactory (it exists, but is kludgy
          as hell to do)
