version - I think your mouse and keyboard are on the usb3 bus, try
moving them to 2.0-based ports?

Here is your keyboard enumerating, seems to register just fine on
port 3, which I think is probably your xhci-hub.
Try it on your 2.0 ports. Same with the mouse. Not sure with 3.0,
but using low-speed devices usually downclocks the device to lower
spec, killing anything else on the hub too unless just using for
mouse and keyboard.

These otherwise seem normally ok, look at your xsession and xorg
logs further as I don't think the problem is in the kernel, if
anything just some evdev regression or something disabling the mouse
like my stupid mate issue with mine.
